Maintaining a healthy body and mind is something I aspire to, when I can actually stick to the positive habits I’m capable of and know they help me, yet struggle to be consistent with lately. You see, that’s the secret- consistency and discipline. The doing, even when I can’t be assed and still keeping with that inner promise of a better future self.
I’m pretty good with getting regular exercise and healthy eating. I’m also good at grumping and comfort baking. Nothing tastes better than skinny feels, someone once said. Did that person ever taste chocolate pretzel bark though? If our minds aren’t healthy, our bodies never will be.
