Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.
I’ll probably be buried under a pile of my to-do lists. As I get older I’m learning to calm down that need to always be doing. To feel validated in keeping busy, ticking things off and feeling like I’ve “done enough”. Oh it’s exhausting!
I can never keep up with my ideas on my neverending to-do lists. It’s because I put too much on that list. We’re all trying to do much. Sloooooow it down and simplify. Don’t waste time running 6k if there’s friends and family you haven’t seen in ages. What’s really important?
I’m starting to realise you have to spend more time in the moment, rather than always prepping for tomorrow and thinking what needs done. What really needs to be done is to enjoy life without the guilt of always having to prove you’ve done enough today. You’re enough already. Stop organising and start living.
