Remember when you were a kid and were filled with wonder and awe about EVERYTHING. You asked questions about things all the time and wanted to know why and how. Constant why and how. Then one day, out of the blue, you stopped with that wonderful enthusiasm for the world around you. When does that happen? I believe it’s around the age of six or seven that this magic starts to fade and you lose that beautiful human trait- curiosity. But do we really have to lose it?
I believe curiosity is the secret to longevity and overall happiness in life. And we are capable of cultivating curiosity to empower ourselves to lead better lives. It’s how we can keep ourselves challenged and growing because we need to keep wondering and asking ourselves constant why and hows. Otherwise we don’t try new things, learn new skills and keep ourselves questioning what we want from life.
